At FAQ Interactive, we are passionate about what we do, and for that reason alone you will be getting good value for your money. That isn't all there is to it though, if you are going to make an investment in marketing your business online, you will want to feel comfortable that the people you are paying have the skills and experience to do the job.

Our online and e-marketing experience at FAQ Interactive goes back to the late 80s, when the internet was still something that people were just learning about, and communication was being done by fax. Google was barely a twinkle in Larry Page's eye.....

Phil Cawthorne

Phil Cawthorne - Managing Director

For more than 17 years, Phil has been helping business's increase their sales revenue! This experience enables him to understand the buying patterns of potential customers for a wide range of industries and his ability to generate leads with a high level of conversion is uncanny.

His talent for generating leads was first noticed while working for a global online Messaging company, Premiere Global Services, also known as Xpedite Systems. As a Sales / Account manager, he single-handedly managed over 200 accounts including Credit Suisse, P&O, Dell, Reserve Bank of Australia and American Express.

It was at Premiere Global Services - where he met Simon Edwards, now Creative Director at FAQ.

Itchy feet led Phil to accept a transfer to Singapore and over the next 4 years he held positions such as Sales Director, Asia and Vice President of Marketing.

Upon his return to Australia, he saw an opportunity with Search Engine Marketing and spent the next few years analysing and integrating the SEO procedures with more traditional marketing techniques. This resulted in the birth of FAQ Interactive.

He enjoys an ecclectic mix of leisure activities from Skydiving to Scuba to sitting on the harbour foreshore and playing guitar.

Simon Edwards

Simon Edwards - Creative Director

Travelling through developing countries of South America and Indo-China changed his outlook a little, so Simon made a choice to always try to keep a balance with the need to feed the soul and the pocket. "The pockets are a little harder to fill sometimes, but at least it is easy to know what goes in there."

Having a creative outlet, like photography and design direction with the creative guys in the team, allows him to fulfill one side, and running the business, strategising and creating effective elements to clients campaigns, fulfills another.

Simon worked for many years with global online Messaging company, Premiere Global Services, also known as Xpedite Systems, acting as the Campaign Manager, Client Services and Operations Director, among other positions over the 8 years.

Before living in Sydney, Simon spent 3 years in Brisbane, starting his photography business, and working within the photographic industry as a camera technician.

Simon started working with cameras in 1989 with Nikon UK Ltd, when he had damaged his first camera and it needed repair. At 15 years old he approached them to start working in the Professional Service Department. "It seemed like the perfect way to get training, exposure and experience with cameras, learn how they work, pull them apart, and put them back together... and not have anything left out.....". That became the nature of how he has worked until now.
